Prepare the watermelon:
Cut the watermelon in half. Remove the seeds and cut the flesh into cubes. You will need about 4 to 5 cups of watermelon cubes.
Blend the watermelon:
Place the watermelon cubes in a blender and blend until smooth. If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add 2 tablespoons of sugar, but this is not necessary, as watermelon is naturally sweet.
Strain the mixture (optional):
If you prefer a very smooth texture, you can pass the mixture through a sieve or fine-mesh strainer to remove the pulp. This is not necessary if you prefer a little texture in your drink.
Add water:
In a large pitcher, pour the cold water and combine it with the watermelon puree. Stir well so that the water and watermelon are completely blended.

Serve:
Fill glasses with crushed ice, then pour the watermelon mixture into each glass. You can add a small slice of watermelon or a lime wedge for garnish.
Enjoy:
Serve immediately for a refreshing, chilled drink.
Tips:
For a more intense flavor: Let the drink sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to blend even better.
If you prefer a sweeter version: You can add a little more sugar to taste.
Storage: This drink keeps well in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 days. Be sure to cover it with plastic wrap or pour it into an airtight container.
